Job Summary

Drive the development and delivery of innovative digital products by collaborating with Developers, Designers, and Digital Product Managers to define requirements, prioritize features, and ensure successful releases. Maintain a prioritized product backlog, write acceptance criteria for user stories, and lead agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and reviews. Partner with UX designers to incorporate user-centered design best practices and communicate product updates to necessary audiences. Plan and execute successful product launches while continuously refining backlog items to ensure clear understanding of product requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • 4-year degree in IT, Engineering, or Business Management
  • OR equivalent experience <2 years of experience as a Product Owner working on agile software product team

Desired Qualifications

  • Product Owner certification (e.g., CSPO)
  • Passion for technology and an interest in understanding customer needs in the digital product space
  • Familiarity with product management tools, such as ADO, Jira, Trello, Lucid, and Confluence
  • Knowledge of UX/UI design principles
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of program governance using both waterfall and agile methodologies combined with ability to manage projects
  • Ability to quickly learn business processes and provide insight and guidance
  • Ability to gather requirements from business partners
  • Ability to breakdown strategic objectives into actionable work for development teams
  • Ability to convey concepts and ideas concisely in verbal and written form
  • Evidence of strategic thinking and some experience in executing in a fast-paced or cross functional environment
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to influence and organize
  • Identify opportunities for process or technology improvements
