Job Summary
Own and deliver Deblock's Tax Product, encompassing transaction categorization, capital-gains calculation, and tax-ready report generation. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, legal, and compliance teams to prioritize and deliver features. Engage in user research, beta testing, and establish strategic partnerships with tax-filing platforms and accounting software providers. Bring a strong legal background in French and EU tax regulations, product instincts, and fluency in both French and English.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified French corporate or tax lawyer (Master 2 / CAPA or equivalent)
- 3–5 years of experience
- Fluent in French and professional in English
- Deep knowledge of French tax obligations related to digital assets
- Understanding of EU regulatory landscape
- Ability to communicate complex regulations in plain language
Desired Qualifications
- Hands-on experience contributing to or owning a product
- Experience in fintech or legaltech
- Network within the French tax administration (DGFiP), AMF, or relevant professional bodies
