Job Summary
Senior Product Owner to join Markel's ERMS team. Partner with stakeholders to understand business priorities around legacy applications, own backlog prioritization and release planning, and ensure product requirements are clearly documented. Drive agile practices, collaborate with architects to translate strategy into practical solutions within existing systems, and support UAT, regression testing, and training for updates involving legacy systems. Track performance with KPIs/metrics tied to business outcomes, ensure alignment with IT investment roadmaps and budgets, and maintain regulatory/compliance adherence. Role requires strong communication, stakeholder management, Jira/Confluence proficiency, and the ability to translate strategic goals into actionable requirements while focusing on customer-centric outcomes and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role in technology or operations
