Job Summary
Define the product vision for backend tolling solutions and oversee the entire product lifecycle. Create and maintain detailed backlogs with User Stories while communicating with stakeholders to ensure alignment. Lead an international, self-organized agile team by applying Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe practices to foster a positive work environment. Manage end-to-end delivery for electronic road-charging systems involving vehicle registrations, charge calculation, and fleet billing. Requires 3+ years of Product Owner experience, Java proficiency, and Jira/Confluence skills. Based in Hungary with remote work options available locally.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master's degree in the following areas: Computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, natural science, mathematics, business or equivalent work experience in IT
- More than 3 years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role
- Proficiency in creating and maintaining Backlogs and User Stories
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- You have experience in software programming with Java
- Deep understanding of agile methods and practices (Kanban, Scrum, SAFe etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication competences in English language
- Proficiency in Jira & Confluence

Desired Qualifications
- You may have already touch points with Kubernetes/Helm, MongoDB, Kafka, reactive programming, Quarkus, REST/SOAP messaging, Prometheus
- Experience working in SAFe environment
- Certification as a Product owner
- Several years of experiences in understanding the application of tolling products and services
- German language knowledge
