Job Summary
Product Owner/Product Manager for High Acuity Care (ICU, Emergency, Anesthesia) at Dedalus, a leading international healthcare software provider. Own and refine the backlog with clear priorities aligned to product strategy; define user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements based on clinical workflows; collaborate with engineering, UX, and architecture teams in Agile/Scrum to deliver high-quality increments; ensure end-to-end delivery accountability including validation and release readiness; contribute to the product vision, strategy, and roadmap within the High Acuity Care value stream; identify opportunities in areas such as clinical decision support, real-time data integration, workflow automation, and interoperability (HL7, FHIR, openEHR); support validation, documentation, and risk awareness in product development; analyze market trends, regulatory requirements, and customer feedback; mentor colleagues with domain expertise and product thinking; German and English language requirements; hybrid working option in Vienna, Bonn, or Trier with potential remote work in Austria or Germany.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Medicine, Healthcare, Engineering, Computer Science, or Medical Informatics or significant clinical experience with IT affinity
- 2–5 years in Product Management, Product Ownership, or similar roles in software development OR 5–10 years in clinical environments with exposure to digital systems
- Strong understanding of hospital workflows, especially in high-acuity care
- Familiarity with healthcare IT ecosystems and interoperability standards
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum)
- Excellent communication skills in German and English (written and spoken)
- Strong stakeholder management across international environments
- Self-driven, structured, and results-oriented
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability
