Job Summary
Product Owner for Air Traffic Control software responsible for ensuring successful delivery and continuous improvement. Bridges product management and development by translating requirements into actionable tasks, guiding the team toward product goals, managing the defect backlog, leading Program Increment and sprint planning, and presenting completed features to stakeholders with clearly defined acceptance criteria. Collaborates closely with the team lead to maximize value, and contributes to aviation-focused projects with a flexible, home-office-friendly setup. Skills emphasized: agile leadership, requirements engineering, backlog management, stakeholder communication, and domain curiosity in air traffic control.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a product owner, product manager, project manager, or in a similar role in a software development environment
- Solid background in requirements engineering
- Fluency in spoken and written English; fluency in German is a benefit
- Eagerness to acquire in-depth knowledge of air traffic control and apron management domains; prior experience in this sector is advantageous
- Strong sense of initiative and responsibility for own work, while supporting shared team goals
