Job Summary
Define the product vision, roadmap, and prioritization for the Integrated Business Planning platform, translating business requirements into a sequenced roadmap of features. Own the core planning artifact that mirrors the executive decision process, including demand outlook, production plans, procurement constraints, capacity, inventory, and financial impacts. Manage end-to-end backlog refinement, write user stories with testable acceptance criteria, and validate delivered features against IBP value delivery. Partner with IT and data teams to define requirements, planning logic, and user experience, while aligning production, procurement, supply chain, commercial, and finance stakeholders on priorities and timelines. Build governance for data quality and scenario logic, shape decision-ready dashboards for leadership, and drive platform adoption through training and feedback loops to establish it as the trusted source of truth for planning decisions.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years in product ownership / product management, supply chain / operations planning, S&OP / Integrated Business Planning, business systems, or a related analytical or transformation role
- Real S&OP / Integrated Business Planning fluency
- A product mindset
- Agile delivery fluency
- Data and KPI literacy
- Digital platform experience
- Cross-functional leadership without formal authority
- Sharp communication
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, business, information systems, or operations
- Automotive or other complex-manufacturing experience
- Experience with planning systems, ERP, BI platforms, or agile product delivery
- Ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person
- Travel to participate in events on behalf of the company
- 18 years of age or older
Desired Qualifications
- Experience leading an agile team
- Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
- Experience owning a product or platform, not just delivery of one
- Experience with planning tools (e.g., APS, ERP, or custom solutions)
- Experience managing a digital product across areas such as data management, APIs, integration, and monitoring
- Experience in a multi-team, multi-channel environment
- Experience spanning the entire S&OP/IBP process
- Experience with long-lead procurement, BOM and capacity ramp, supplier allocation, plant constraints
- Experience with ERP, BI platforms, or agile product delivery
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, business, information systems, or operations (preferred)
