Job Summary
Product Owner - Project Alignment sits at the centre of Product Owner and Project Management communication, supporting effective project execution with a 50/50 split between embedded PM collaboration and product-area visibility. You translate Project Management issues into product-relevant language, surface blockers and escalations, track resolution, identify systemic issues, and present recommended paths to the Group Product Manager. You embed alongside Project Managers to surface product-delivery risks early, escalate where needed, and help surface patterns for process improvements. You collaborate with Sales, Solutions Architects, and Clients to facilitate resolutions, and you’ll translate development process issues for Product Owners while avoiding ownership of sprint ceremonies, end-to-end roadmap ownership, or full delivery coordination. This role thrives on dual modes of operation—facilitating product-developer communication and providing project-support insights—while driving transparency, risk mitigation, and actionable outcomes. Strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, and ability to push back on unfeasible commitments are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years as a Product Owner, Project Manager, or equivalent (BA with PO scope, Solution Consultant, Technical Product Manager) in B2B
- Experience operating across both Product and Project Management contexts
- Estimation discipline—understand order-of-magnitude vs committed estimates
- Strong stakeholder management
- Comfortable with ambiguity
- Risk identification
- Fluent in Jira and Confluence; active use of modern AI tooling in your workflow
