Job Summary
Product Owner in SIS unit within Broadridge responsible for owning and prioritizing the product backlog for brokerage back-office and tax-related solutions, translating client and regulatory requirements into epics and user stories, coordinating with clients, support, product strategy, and solution development teams, and guiding delivery from backlog through release in a hybrid work setup.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology / Systems
- 5 years of product management experience
- Extensive knowledge of Wealth Management Back Office and Business Management applications
- Strong understanding of front-office and back-office brokerage business operations within the Canadian securities industry
- Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize complex product and system requirements
- Experience translating business needs into product requirements, user stories, and functional outcomes
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex business, operational, and regulatory data
- Ability to perform data mapping and review technical design documents to ensure alignment with product intent
- Experience working cross-functionally with clients, developers, architects, QA teams, and support organizations
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills
- Preferred: Canadian Tax Code knowledge, tax-processing domain expertise
