Product Owner

Product Owner to drive governance and delivery for payments/ banking platform changes. Responsibilities include reviewing global/regional Functional Change Requests for validity and feasibility, validating high-level business requirements and business case with stakeholders, leading cross-system impact assessments across upstream/downstream components, eliminating non-applicable requirements, and delivering cost-effective solutions. Define MVP scope with stakeholders, align with SIT/UAT/PVT testing strategies, and maintain detailed business requirements, user stories, and process flows. Collaborate with architects/SMEs to review high-level solutions, ensure alignment with regulatory and industry best practices, and coordinate with Global Payment System and technology/operations partners to implement regulatory and mandatory changes on the payments platform. Deep domain knowledge in payments lifecycle (high-value/low-value, settlement, clearing, orchestration via SWIFT), core banking systems, downstream modules (investigations, returns, reconciliations, billing, exception management), and testing/quality assurance cycles (SIT, UAT, PVT). Strong focus on operational readiness, release sign-offs, defect prioritization, and regulatory/operational controls. Understanding of ISO20022, SWIFT CSP, AML, and sanctions screening.
