Job Summary
Product Owner oversees the THC portfolio, defining and prioritizing the product roadmap from concept to commercialization. Collaborates with Commercial, Engineering, Quality, Scientific, Supply Chain, and Project Management teams to align development with customer needs, market trends, and business objectives. Owns product performance throughout the lifecycle, translates market opportunities into measurable success criteria, and leads initiatives from opportunity identification through launch. Executes market research, gathers customer insights, and validates concepts with customers to inform priorities and strategy. Requires knowledge of atomization systems, vape hardware, cannabis product categories, and manufacturing/validation practices; excels at cross-functional leadership, strategic decision-making, and delivering value in a hardware-focused, regulated environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, STEM, or related discipline
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience in Product Management, Commercialization, or related roles
- Experience managing portfolios and presenting business cases to senior leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing complex hardware from concept to mass production
- Knowledge of atomization systems, vape hardware, and product development processes
- Understanding of cannabis product categories, extraction processes, formulations, or manufacturing of vape products
- Familiarity with quality standards, validation methodologies, and manufacturing systems
- Ability to evaluate market trends and drive customer-led innovation
- Capacity to evaluate operational and regulatory trade-offs in development decisions
