Job Summary
Own the product vision and roadmap for the Engagement Portal, defining user stories and managing the backlog to drive continuous platform evolution. Lead release planning and cross-functional collaboration to ensure cohesive implementation of self-service capabilities that support global business growth targets. Drive backlog execution by prioritizing features that enhance user experience and platform adoption, while continuously assessing engagement metrics to implement UX improvements. Enable operational efficiency by leveraging the platform to meet evolving customer and partner needs across the marine and infrastructure sectors.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Business Administration or Information Technology
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Information Technology
- Master's degree in Business Administration or Information Technology
- PhD in Business Administration or Information Technology
- 4+ years of experience in product management with a focus on digital platforms and user experience
- 2+ years of experience in product management with a focus on digital platforms and user experience
- 6+ years of experience in digital product management with a focus on web or mobile platforms
- U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident
- Authorization to work for any employer in the U.S. without sponsorship
Desired Qualifications
- Proven track record as a digital product owner for web and/or mobile applications
- Hands-on experience managing the full development lifecycle using Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies
- Experience with budget oversight and on-time delivery
- Strong experience enhancing user experience and driving platform adoption
- Deep understanding of digital technologies, user-centric design principles, and platform development processes
- Demonstrated ability to align platform features with strategic business objectives
- Ability to engage stakeholders effectively at all levels
- Ability to lead cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams toward cohesive platform outcomes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency in German (verbal and written)
