Job Summary
Collaborate with stakeholders, business users, and development teams to elicit and document product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Define and maintain the product roadmap while facilitating Agile processes including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and prioritization. Conduct user research, analyze feedback, and advocate for user-centered design optimizations. Create comprehensive documentation such as functional specifications, user guides, and release notes. Engage cross-functional teams including QA, design, and marketing to align priorities and manage expectations. Lead commercialization efforts by working closely with sales, marketing, and business development to ensure product presentation in rapid deployment environments. Identify process improvements and implement solutions to enhance the development lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst in an Agile environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex concepts and translate them into actionable requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and build consensus
- Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience with Agile tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello)
- Knowledge of software development processes, SDLC, and experience working closely with development teams
- Detail-oriented mindset, with a focus on delivering high-quality products within time and budget constraints
- Must have expert level experience with content design and layout, graphics, and engineering concepts
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with UX principles, wireframing tools, and usability testing is a plus
