Job Summary
Product Owner – Power Electronic Valves (HVDC/FACTS) accountable for strategic direction, lifecycle management, competitiveness, and profitability of power electronic valve platforms. Owns the valve product roadmap, ensures future capabilities align with evolving solution requirements while maintaining platform standardization, manufacturability, quality, and cost competitiveness. Serves as primary interface between Solution Owners, Systems Architects, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Project Organizations to ensure valve platforms support current and future market needs. Responsibilities cover long-term product strategy, roadmap development across HVDC and FACTS, lifecycle management, requirements management, governance, cost targeting, and stakeholder alignment. Qualifications include a Master’s degree or higher and 10+ years in power electronics/HVDC/FACTS, with proven cross-functional leadership and product-management skills. The role emphasizes strategic thinking, innovation, and driving profitability and sustainability for GE Vernova’s valve platforms, contributing to scalable, reliable grid solutions and energy transition." ,
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Energy Systems, Physics or related technical discipline
- 10+ years of experience in Power electronics, HVDC, FACTS, grid technologies, high-voltage engineering
- Proven experience in product management, technology roadmapping, requirements management, cross-functional leadership
