Job Summary
Product Owner responsible for shaping and delivering digital and data products. Lead backlog refinement, translate business needs into user stories and acceptance criteria, and guide cross-functional teams (development and data engineering) to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions. Balance cost vs reward to define MVPs, sprint goals, and iterative delivery. Collaborate with enterprise data teams to leverage trusted data assets, embed automation, analytics, and AI into product workflows, and report on performance and outcomes to stakeholders. Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and analytical/problem-solving capabilities are essential. Bonus familiarity with data modelling, enterprise data environments, and AI/ML use cases. Flexible/hybrid work arrangement with main hubs in Wellington, Auckland, and Tauranga; open to applicants across Aotearoa who can work from one of these locations. Must be eligible to live and work in New Zealand.
