Job Summary
Draft product briefs defining objectives and strategies, then leverage data to inform decisions on product direction. Engage stakeholders during visioning and concept development, managing expectations and reporting progress while addressing concerns. Perform discovery to gather requirements, assess and prioritize stories and epics to align work with strategy, and manage the backlog by planning iterations and elaborating user stories. Take ownership of new feature delivery, mitigating risks and ensuring the team understands backlog items. Balance user needs, IT constraints, and external partner relationships to maximize user value, continuously improving the experience through feedback and industry trends.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
- Certifications in Product Ownership or Management, such as Certified Scrum Master or Certified Scrum Product Owner are preferred
- 2+ years' experience as a Product Owner or Manager, ideally in a fast-paced, Agile development environment
- 2+ years experience in Asset Management
- High digital savviness and comfort with a range of software, including MS Office Suite, SQL/Oracle database, Power BI, Smartsheet, Azure DevOPS, Google Analytics, MIRO, and Figma
- In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles and experience with prioritization methods like Value vs Effort and RICE
- Creative thinker with a vision and ability to conceptualize innovative solutions and features
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills and the ability to clearly articulate product vision and strategy
- Fluent communication skills in English are required
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong collaboration and experience working with cross-functional teams
- Understanding of end-to-end customer experience integration and dependencies
