Job Summary
Product Owner to lead backlog for RightHub engineering squads in Hyderabad; translate roadmap priorities, product requirements, customer needs, and stakeholder input into well-structured user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, and supporting documentation; ensure backlog items are clear, refined, prioritized, and ready for development; work with Product Managers and Product Leadership to understand strategic priorities and convert them into executable delivery plans; balance new feature development, technical improvements, customer commitments, defects, and platform modernization; serve as the primary local product contact for developers, QA, architects, and technical leads; participate in sprint ceremonies; clarify requirements quickly and remove blockers; ensure the team has sufficient business and product context; develop strong understanding of the RightHub platform and IP management processes; collaborate with global Product Managers and Leadership; support demos, release preparation, and documentation; deliver meaningful backlog items and improve product delivery practices; 5+ years of experience preferred; strong communication, analytical, and collaboration skills; comfortable working with distributed teams across time zones; familiar with Jira, Confluence, Figma, Miro; AI automation experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Product Manager, or similar role in a software product environment
- Strong experience working directly with software engineering teams in an Agile/Scrum delivery model
- Ability to write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional requirements
- Strong analytical skills and ability to understand complex workflows, data structures, and business rules
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain product needs clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage ambiguity
- Ability to prioritize effectively and make practical trade-offs
- Comfortable working with distributed teams across different time zones
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma, Miro, or similar product delivery tools
- Experience in B2B SaaS, enterprise software, legal technology, intellectual property software, workflow automation, document management, CRM, ERP, or case/matter management platforms
- Familiarity with intellectual property processes (for example, patent and trademark management)
- Experience working on platforms with complex permissions, configurable workflows, integrations, reporting, or multi-tenant SaaS architecture
- Experience supporting modernization of legacy platforms or development of cloud-native software
- Experience working with international product and engineering teams
- 5+ years of experience
