Product Owner – Air and LCL Freight Operations Technology

Job Summary
Own the product and process roadmap for the air and ocean logistics platform, leading discovery through frontline process observation and identifying automation and AI opportunities. Map business processes to define policies and controls, translating needs into epics while reviewing deliverables and safeguarding quality. Partner with Governance, Risk & Compliance to design controls and govern master data, defining value-realization mechanisms and tracking delivery to business-as-usual. Provide input into annual operating planning and act as subject-matter expert in delivery sprints. This fully office-based role requires five days on-site and leverages deep air freight forwarding expertise, CargoWise experience, and AI/automation skills to drive efficiency and compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Logistics expertise — Deep, hands-on experience in air freight forwarding processes — operations, documentation, and customer and vendor flows
- Experience with CargoWise
- Proven product management experience: owning roadmaps, writing epics and requirements, and partnering with engineering in agile delivery
- Practical experience applying AI and automation to operational processes, and a clear view of where they add value
- Strong understanding of operational excellence and lean methodology, with a track record of improving systems and processes
- Strong analytical skills and comfort with business financials and the drivers of company performance
- Customer centricity and genuine frontline knowledge of how the work gets done
- Ability to operate in a complex, matrixed organization and manage a wide set of stakeholders
- Technical acumen and the ability to translate fluently between business and technology
- Ability to take ownership of complex products and deliver simple, usable solutions
- Resilience, agility, creativity, and strong communication
- This is a fully office-based role, requiring on-site presence five days per week at the advertised location
