Product Operations Associate (NZ)

Job Summary
Operate and monitor robots remotely to ensure safe, efficient task completion; serve as the ops voice in product/engineering discussions and provide real-world feedback on features. Coordinate a distributed remote ops team, assign tasks, unblock issues, and maintain daily planning, task tracking, and documentation across shifts/time zones. Produce daily summaries and reports on robot performance and operational trends; maintain playbooks and knowledge bases for scalable processes. Collaborate with customers and site teams to remove blockers and ensure safe robot operation. Identify gaps between product intent and real-world usage, translating frontline experience into actionable improvements. Leverage AI and automation tools to streamline workflows, detect anomalies, and reduce manual effort.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to operate and monitor robotic systems remotely
- Experience coordinating distributed or remote ops teams
- Ability to produce clear operational performance reports
- Strong verbal and written communication with ability to translate technical observations for diverse audiences
- Customer/site-team collaboration to resolve blockers
- Self-starter who can work independently in fast-moving environments
- Attention to detail with risk mitigation mindset
- Interest in AI/tools for workflow optimization
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs/23 kg and secure payloads on robots
- Basic scripting, dashboards, or workflow automation familiarity
