Job Summary
Define the Web Trial and Marketplace experience for new prospects and existing customers by mapping the total prospect journey from research through demo and trial phases. Manage trial assets including landing pages, email nurtures, blogs, and videos while developing sales materials and tools to support the selling process. Plan trial updates for go-to-market launches and partner with demand generation, product management, and the field to drive thought leadership. Communicate value propositions to sales teams and collaborate with internal groups to differentiate Illumio's Zero Trust segmentation solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of product marketing experience in companies focused on enterprise security, data center or cloud infrastructure
- Strong organizational, prioritization, project management and time management ability with a deadline focus
- Strong right brain, left brain balance — analytical + creative
- Demonstrated success of leading projects, launching products and driving product marketing activities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive and driven to solve problems and find innovative solutions
- Strong acumen about new technologies and commercial acumen in the software industry
- Strong business acumen and the ability to forge and maintain relationships
- Exceptional communication skills including the ability to influence, guide, and work with senior executives to achieve joint objectives
- Experience of working in collaboration with a diverse range of business functions and customers to drive change and achieve delivery
- Strong technical skills and experience
- Demonstrated problem solving ability and attention to detail to deliver high-quality output
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across multiple time-zones
- 4 on-site days a week in Sunnyvale, CA headquarters
