Job Summary
Senior Product Marketing Manager, Retention leads lifecycle churn mitigation strategies across the subscriber lifecycle, translating churn signals into targeted interventions to reduce active and passive churn, while protecting recurring revenue and improving lifetime value. Collaborates with Analytics, Product, Marketing Operations, and Growth teams to design and scale at-risk lifecycle programs, including cancel-save experiences, engagement recovery campaigns, and payment recovery messaging. Drives end-to-end retention strategy, experimentation (A/B/multivariate), and performance measurement (churn reduction, save rates, LTV), and partners on product experiences like cancel flows and subscription management to reduce friction and strengthen long-term engagement.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in product marketing, lifecycle/CRM marketing, retention marketing, or growth marketing
- Proven track record designing and scaling retention and churn mitigation strategies for subscription businesses
- Highly analytical with experience leveraging behavioral, cohort, and lifecycle data
- Hands-on expertise with lifecycle/CRM platforms (e.g., Braze, Iterable, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign) to operationalize data-driven programs
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives across Product, Go-To-Market, Analytics, and Engineering
- Experience building and executing structured experimentation frameworks (A/B, multivariate) with focus on causal measurement and scalable learnings
