Job Summary
Product Marketing Manager for Barracuda’s Application Security portfolio. Own end-to-end product launches, develop value propositions and differentiation for app security use cases (web app protection, API security, vulnerability management, DevSecOps), and lead cross-functional launch planning with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Enablement, and Channel. Create sales enablement assets (pitch decks, battlecards, demos narratives, talk tracks) and training content for global sales teams and partners. Define and maintain core messaging frameworks, conduct competitive analysis, and translate technical features into customer-focused outcomes (risk reduction, operational efficiency, compliance, resilience). Collaborate with demand generation and content teams on campaigns, webinars, and thought leadership; contribute to broader product marketing initiatives and planning cycles. Requires 8–10+ years in product marketing, strong knowledge of application security concepts (WAF, API security, vulnerabilities, DevSecOps), and experience working with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing.
Required Qualifications
- 8–10+ years of experience in Product Marketing, ideally in cybersecurity, application security, or cloud/SaaS platforms
- Proven track record of successful product launches and sales enablement in a B2B technology environment
- Excellent understanding of application security concepts (e.g., WAF, API security, vulnerabilities, DevSecOps, CI/CD security)
- Experience working crossfunctionally with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical topics
- Experience supporting global sales teams and partners
- Proven experience with application security buyers (AppSec, DevOps, Security Operations)
- Exposure to channel-first or MSP-led go-to-market models
- Prior experience supporting analyst relations (e.g., Gartner, Forrester)
- Ability to operate independently and drive initiatives from concept to execution
