Job Summary
Lead development of ABB's Critical Power and Electrification market strategy with a primary focus on Data Centers, identifying emerging trends, customer needs, and investment opportunities. Establish market intelligence across customers, competitors, and industry influencers to convert insights into actionable recommendations that influence product roadmaps and support business case development. Build relationships with key customers, consultants, and engineering firms to conduct voice-of-customer initiatives, while translating industry trends into executive communications and thought leadership content. Evaluate macro trends for portfolio impact and support strategic decision-making across the organization. This role requires a Bachelor's degree, 7+ years of strategic marketing experience, and the ability to travel up to 30% within North America.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, economics, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in strategic marketing, business strategy, product management, consulting, or related disciplines
- Experience within one or more of the following industries: Data Centers, Critical Power, Electrification, Semiconductor Manufacturing, Healthcare Infrastructure or Mission-Critical Facilities
- Demonstrated success influencing strategic business decisions through market insights and competitive intelligence
- Ability to synthesize large amounts of market data into clear executive-level recommendations
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority
- Ability to travel up to 30% within North America
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting product roadmap development or portfolio strategy
- Familiarity with AI infrastructure, power quality, digital energy management, industrial digitalization, or sustainability solutions
- Existing network within the data center, semiconductor, healthcare, or critical infrastructure ecosystem
