Job Summary
Manage line plan launches at supply bases to ensure part quality and volume availability across multiple product lines. Oversee strategic projects to improve manufacturing processes and product quality while creating R&D initiatives for new technologies. Develop sustainability strategies and implement continuous improvement programs to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Build supplier relationships to ensure quality and efficiency, utilizing data analytics to optimize processes and mitigate supply chain risks. Lead technology integration and communicate manufacturing goals to senior management. Incorporate customer feedback into the design process to improve functionality. Requires a B.S. in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering with 5+ years in metal fabrication and process optimization. Base pay ranges from $105,000 to $120,000.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Materials Engineering
- Minimum 5+ years of experience working in a manufacturing/engineering environment
- working knowledge of Metal Fabrication
- working knowledge of DOE
- working knowledge of Process Optimization
- working knowledge of FMEA
- working knowledge of Supplier Relations
- Experience working on individual and team projects with successful results
- Ability to work extended hours as necessary
- Able to work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruption
- Light physical effort equal to frequent lifting or moving of lightweight materials
- Frequent travel may be required
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of fabrication methods including Casting, Forging, Forming, Machining, Stamping, and Injection Molding
- Metal Fabrication experience
- Knowledge of cosmetic finishing processes including Plating, PVD, Painting, Powder Coating, Abrasive Polishing, and Media Blasting
- Knowledge of consumer goods and the Golf/Sporting Goods industry
- Knowledge of manufacturing tooling and fixture design/inspection
- Knowledge of computational tools including CAD, FEA, Programming Languages
- Self-Motivated having demonstrated initiative toward professional and personal growth
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to enable coordination of projects within departments and outside consultants
- Capable of efficiently integrating existing methods with new innovations
- Master's degree
