Product Manager

Job Summary
Lead and manage sales and profitability for Westlake Royal Building Products' roofing brands within the Roofing Solutions Category, including full P&L responsibility for managed product lines. Drive product strategy, oversee project implementation, and ensure successful product launches while collaborating with sales, marketing, supply chain, finance, engineering, and operations to meet revenue and profitability goals. Execute product planning throughout the lifecycle, set strategic pricing, and manage pre-launch activities such as beta jobs. Provide effective communications to internal and external customers, gather market intelligence, and represent the product at industry trade shows and customer events. Participate in annual budget creation and manage forecasts for assigned product lines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or other related fields
- A minimum of 5 years of marketing, sales, or related experience
- Must be a self-starter and able to work independently but also hold self and others accountable to create results through disciplined execution, particularly in a team environment
- Excellent teamwork skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated effective communication skills (verbal and written)
- Project management skills, and sound understanding of marketing principles
- Demonstrated level of effective problem-solving skills
- Advanced knowledge of MS office, sales reporting tools, and web-based applications required
- Proficient with MS office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Experience with JDE preferable
- Up to 50% of the time, with overnights at times
- Position will be based at a rooftile manufacturing site
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision (must be able to see and distinguish colors), peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

- Travel including air travel and auto travel is required
- May also result in exposure to outside elements and may require usage of stairs and elevators
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Stage/Gate process a plus
- Building materials experience desired, but not required
