Job Summary
Product leadership role focused on the end-to-end lifecycle of innovative financial services products within the Assisted and Online Account Opening domain. As VP of Product Management, you will set strategy and vision, own the backlog, align cross-functional teams (engineering, architecture, product, control & compliance, data & analytics), and drive discovery, ideation, and value-driven development to deliver scalable, compliant products. You will lead a team of Product Managers and Associates,Act as the voice of the customer, partner with stakeholders to monitor controls and risk, and establish governance and operational excellence across the organization. You will craft narratives and cadence for executive and partner audiences, and ensure successful product launches with strong customer experiences, accountability, and adherence to the firm’s code of conduct.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
- Prior management skills and leading a team of individuals in a product environment
- Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
- Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
- A customer & control obsessed individual with the ability to build and maintain good, productive relationships with engineers and technical partners, and an ability to translate customer & control needs into clear product delivery or technical requirements
- Experience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions
- Demonstrated ability to build a robust partnership with the Quad (Product, Experience, Tech / Architecture / Data & Analytics) to achieve superior results
- Ability to translate disparate insights and data sources into clear, measurable, scalable features and deliverables
- Demonstrated ability to drive change through influence and collaboration across a matrix organization in a highly dynamic environment
- Experience working in financial services, acquisition, digital products, online and mobile platforms, and product controls
- Has a keen sense of focus on monitoring tools that lead to the overall success of our platform
