Job Summary
VP Product Manager leads end-to-end product lifecycle for Digital Platform products focused on regulatory & compliance controls in Commercial & Investment Banking. Responsible for voice of the customer, developing profitable products, guiding launches, maintaining backlog, tracking key success metrics (cost, features, risk posture, reliability), coordinating with Legal, Compliance, and business managers, establishing processes for regulatory approvals, and assessing regulatory impact including privacy/data segregation. Requires collaboration with stakeholders to implement process efficiencies, strong leadership, and cross-functional coordination across global teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent in product management or relevant domain
- 5+ years of experience in financial institutions in business controls, operational risk, compliance, legal, audit or similar function
- Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
- Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
- Excellent business judgement and organizational management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to motivate and gain consensus among peers and stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in highly matrixed organizations
- Knowledge of regulatory landscape in financial services (EMEA & APAC) is a plus
- Comfortable interpreting legal/regulatory texts
