Job Summary

Develop the product portfolio business plan by supporting sales and market expansion goals through well-defined, achievable initiatives and execution plans. Manage the full product lifecycle, including development support, launch execution, growth initiatives, and end-of-life activities, while coordinating training, certification, and regulatory requirements. Partner with sales to conduct market and customer research, translating insights into clear product requirements and collaborating with development teams to prioritize work and deliver high-quality products. Support pricing and margin analysis by gathering data and monitoring performance to inform pricing decisions. Execute go-to-market activities with marketing teams, aligning on group strategies, maintaining shared targets, and serving as a backup resource as needed. 25% travel based on customer demand, primarily within the United States, with occasional trips to Japan.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Marketing, or business equivalent
  • 4+ years professional industrial automation experience in sales, marketing, and/or applications engineering
  • Demonstrated knowledge of industrial automation products (VFDs, Servo/Motion, PLC, HMI, CNC, Robot, Industrial Networks)
  • Experience building collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Track record of effective communication with customers at all levels
  • Proven ability to work in hybrid environments (in-office and remote)
  • Experience managing complex business problems with analytical approaches
  • Capability to travel up to 25%, primarily within the United States
  • Ability to engage effectively in professional social interactions
  • Experience presenting technical information to diverse audiences

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in Japanese business culture
  • Familiarity with SAP ECC/SAP CRM
