Product Manager - Unattended Payment Environments

Job Summary
Define the global product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Verifone's unattended and petroleum-focused hardware platforms, including kiosks, vending, transit, EV charging, and fuel dispensers. Evaluate market opportunities, customer needs, and regulatory requirements to guide product investments from concept through launch and lifecycle management. Collaborate with engineering, industrial design, and operations teams to ensure scalable, compliant hardware solutions across global markets. Own product definition, variants, and end-of-life planning while balancing innovation, cost, and regional requirements. This hybrid role reports to the VP of Hardware Product Management, with approximately 20% travel for customer site visits and industry events.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong experience in product management for hardware or hardware-enabled platforms
- Demonstrated knowledge of payments, payment devices, or transaction-driven environments
- Experience working with cross-functional teams across multiple geographies and time zones
- Ability to read, understand, and contribute to technical documentation and specifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- This role requires approximately 20% travel, including visits to customer sites, regional team engagements, and industry events across global markets
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with unattended payment environments (e.g., kiosks, vending, transit, EV charging)
- Petroleum retail or fuel dispenser experience is a strong plus, but not required
- Familiarity with hardware and software development lifecycles
- Exposure to Agile development practices and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
- Knowledge of fintech, embedded systems, or secure payment technologies
