Product Manager - Treasury

Job Summary
Direct product strategy from conception through implementation for Visa Direct products, including Collection, Hold, Payouts, and Conversions. Identify new business opportunities, formulate long-term plans for cost and profit control, and develop real-time financial systems at global scale. Serve as the central resource interacting with systems, marketing, and sales while promoting adoption of emerging technologies like Generative AI. Lead complex projects integrating new Visa products and markets into Treasury systems to optimize liquidity management and minimize costs. Work within a matrixed, ambiguous environment using Agile frameworks to define product roadmaps and execute go-to-market plans. This hybrid position requires a background in payments, fintech, or regulated finance to support Visa's rapid global expansion.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree, an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or a PhD
- Experience in creating vision statements and setting product goals
- Experience in defining product strategy
- Experience in product design
- Experience in customer discovery and designing new products based on that discovery
- Experience in product execution
- Experience in defining and leading plans to achieve product goals
- Experience working within matrixed, ambiguous environments and understanding the issuing dynamic within the broader payments ecosystem
- Experience working in Agile frameworks and comfortable working in matrixed organizations
- Experience in process or core banking best practices and passion to implement these across teams
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, grow, retain, and lead high-caliber technical talent
- Senior product management experience in Digital, Payments, and Financial Services
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing digital products for issuers
- Deep background in issuing institutions and needs when growing/managing large card portfolios
- Strong expertise in defining and executing product strategy, product roadmaps, and go-to-market plans leveraging data to inform decision making and secure influence
- Solid understanding of software development processes and technologies to collaborate effectively with engineering and design teams
- This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager
Desired Qualifications
- Treasury or finance, preferably within a regulated EMI, fintech, bank, or payments company
- Experienced working in regulated areas, comfortable working with compliance officers, auditors and equally discussing technical problems with engineer
- Proficiency with Excel and financial modelling tools; experience with Treasury systems a plus
- Successful track record of working with cross-functional teams
- Practical knowledge of Agile methodology and proven implementation
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management with an ability to translate business needs to a technical team
- Results orientated, continues to work toward achievement of goals in the face of obstacles readily integrating changes into work processes and outputs
- History of working closely and effectively with analyst and technology teams to elicit requirements from stakeholders, challenging them to hone their thinking with the ability
- All roles require digital fluency, including the ability to work with emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday work
