Job Summary
Own the product lifecycle for amplifiers and custom intercom solutions within the Rolling Stock market, defining roadmaps aligned with customer and market requirements. Gather, prioritize, and translate customer needs into specifications while working with Engineering to deliver solutions meeting performance, compliance, and cost targets. Act as a key interface between customers, Sales, and internal teams to lead discussions, presentations, and solution development. Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and bid submissions, managing compliance matrices against customer specifications. Provide broader product management support across the portfolio, assisting with customer queries and contributing to continuous process improvement in a small team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience within the Rolling Stock / Rail industry
- Knowledge of relevant rail / metro standards
- Experience in product management, applications engineering, or technical sales
- Strong understanding of PAVA systems, amplifiers, SIP-based intercoms, or related communication systems
- Experience preparing quotations, tenders, and compliance documentation
- Ability to interpret complex specifications and translate them into deliverable solutions
- Strong commercial awareness and customer-facing experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with Rolling Stock OEMs and integrators
- IP networking experience
