Product Manager - Tech Delivery

Job Summary

Generate the vision and roadmap for the program based on customer requirements, industry trends, regulations, and strategic business direction. Communicate this roadmap to stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams. Oversee product budgets by collaborating with finance partners on personnel and non-personnel expenses. Develop business cases for new products and features while ensuring delivery meets client expectations for security, availability, and timelines. Partner with demand and capacity teammates to maintain product availability. Provide input on defining business capabilities and aligning them to products. Drive platform standardization, automation, and adoption across large organizations using Google Cloud and Terraform Enterprise. Manage backlogs to improve platform usability and developer experience. 1st shift, 40 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in cloud platform delivery, product ownership, or infrastructure engineering, with strong exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or technical product leader, managing backlogs and driving delivery of cloud platform capabilities
  • Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, with hands-on familiarity with Terraform Enterprise and automated provisioning models
  • Experience working closely with engineering teams to deliver reusable platform services, code modules, and cloud automation solutions
  • Solid foundation in Agile methodologies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and prioritization of user stories aligned to business value
  • Demonstrated ability to translate customer and business requirements into clear, actionable product features and technical requirements
  • Experience managing product backlogs, including friction or technical debt backlogs, to improve platform usability and developer experience
  • Strong knowledge of GCP services, cloud architecture patterns, and networking concepts (VPCs, IAM, load balancing, hybrid connectivity)
  • Understanding of CI/CD, DevSecOps, and automation practices, with the ability to prioritize and drive these as product capabilities
  • Experience with policy-as-code, governance frameworks, and regulatory compliance in enterprise environments (financial services preferred)
  • Proven ability to drive platform standardization, automation, and adoption across large, complex organizations
  • Strong understanding of observability, monitoring, and operational excellence in cloud environments
  • Deep experience with GCP services such as: Compute (GCE, GKE, Managed Instance Groups), Networking (VPC, load balancing, hybrid connectivity, cross-cloud experienced), IAM and organization policy, Security Command Center, Cloud KMS, Observability (Cloud Monitoring, Logging, Trace)
  • Experience with: Platform engineering / Internal Developer Platforms (IDP), Kubernetes (GKE) and container platforms, FinOps / cloud cost management, API-driven platform design, Service catalog / self-service provisioning

  • Experience defining and tracking product success metrics, including adoption, performance, and customer satisfaction
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a data-driven approach to prioritization
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate product vision, roadmap, and outcomes to senior stakeholders
