Job Summary
Primary point of contact for all engineering aspects of the product, including understanding system inter-relationships and impacts of changes across electrical, mechanical, and systems disciplines. Collaborate with technical leadership, program management, and supplier teams to manage release schedules, develop Statements of Work, and maintain execution plans. Track progress, identify risks, and ensure product completeness prior to customer delivery while working onsite at Hazelwood or Berkeley, MO, with potential domestic or international travel. Requires U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a final U.S. Secret or Top Secret clearance post-start.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- Prior engineering experience to include one (or more) of the following: systems engineering, software engineering, hardware engineering, project engineering
- Technical understanding and experience with one (or more) of the following: Engineering Project Management, Project Planning, Leading Agile Teams, Product Development, Earned Value Management
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
- Active U.S. Security Clearance
- This position is expected to be 100% onsite
- The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options
- Travel may be required; Domestically and/or Internationally depending on business needs
- A final U.S. Secret or Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required
- Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements may be required for these positions
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
- 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Leadership experience to include but not limited to engineering leadership roles and/or leading work and driving teams to success
Desired Qualifications
- In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard
