Job Summary
Craft a product strategy and roadmap for Visa Direct's Currencycloud, conducting deep market, customer, and competitor research to define vision and secure stakeholder buy-in. Lead end-to-end product development from discovery with clients to launch, managing backlogs across teams and collaborating with engineering to ship features that solve real payment flow problems. Drive adoption and measure performance post-launch, using data and feedback to prioritize high-impact improvements. Own a product area end-to-end, influencing cross-functional partners to deliver measurable outcomes for businesses sending and receiving funds globally.
Required Qualifications
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
- PhD
- At least 3 days in office
- At least 3-4 years proven experience in a Product Owner/Product Manager role
- Experience owning a product area or major initiative from discovery through launch and iteration
- Experience shipping products
- Strong prioritization skills
- Ability to define and manage a backlog
- Ability to make tough trade-offs
- Comfortable working with agile frameworks like Scrum or Kanban
- Experience crafting a vision for your product based on customer discovery, market research, data analysis, etc.
- Preferably domain knowledge in Fintech - e.g. payments, FX, transaction banking or trading
- Experience shipping features to customers
- Ability to measure impact
- Ability to use learnings to shape future plans
