Job Summary
Own product discovery, strategy, and delivery for a core area of the robotics platform, moving from customer problem research to defining specs that engineers can execute. Go deep on user needs by talking to customers, visiting sites, and reading manuals to understand how robots are actually used. Work hands-on with UX and engineers to iterate prototypes, validate assumptions, and de-risk work early through clear interaction flows and functional behavior. Define what is being built and why with craft-focused decisions that ensure software makes robots do useful things in the real world.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in product, design, engineering, or a similarly hands-on role
- Experience building and shipping things you're proud of—not just managed process
- Ability to think critically about customer problems and break down ambiguity into structured decisions
- Design sense and care about craft—you notice when something is off and it bothers you
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Located in or near New York or willing to work hybrid
