Job Summary
Own assigned product areas across Sproxil's portfolio by translating business goals, regulatory constraints, and market realities into clear problem statements and opportunity assessments. Lead structured discovery activities including stakeholder interviews, workshops, and hypothesis validation while partnering with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and external stakeholders. Produce high-quality documentation such as PRDs, requirements, and release notes that meet global best-practice standards for Engineering, QA, and Operations. Drive delivery from concept through release by participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and reviews, then support launches and track success metrics to inform iterative improvements. Provide concise, insight-driven updates via agreed reporting cadence and proactively flag risks with clear recommendations. Operate with high autonomy and ownership, managing multiple workstreams in an evolving landscape where ambiguity is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Product Manager or equivalent role in a technology-driven environment
- Proven experience working on multi-stakeholder, cross-functional products, preferably within B2B, platform, SaaS, or regulated industries
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently with limited oversight
- Strong product thinking: problem framing, prioritisation, and outcome-driven decision-making
- Exceptional written communication and documentation skills
- High comfort level interfacing with Engineering, including technical trade-offs and delivery constraints
- Strong organisational discipline and ability to manage multiple workstreams concurrently
- Commercial awareness and sensitivity to business development and revenue considerations
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with supply chain solutions, or AI-enabled products
- Familiarity with African or emerging-market operating contexts
- Exposure to regulatory or compliance-driven product environments
