Job Summary

Define and communicate the product vision for AI/ML clinical documentation improvement solutions, aligning strategy with client needs and business goals. Translate this vision into actionable specifications, maintaining a prioritized backlog of user stories that deliver real value. Lead the development process end-to-end using agile best practices, partnering closely with data scientists and engineers to build scalable, high-quality solutions. Monitor progress, mitigate risks early, and ensure seamless collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. This role requires 5+ years of product management experience, a working knowledge of revenue cycle management workflows, and familiarity with machine learning concepts within a fast-paced startup environment.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product management experience in a software environment, with a proven track record of shipping products
  • Strong technical fundamentals and genuine comfort working alongside engineers on how software gets built
  • A bias for execution—you like to roll up your sleeves and get things done
  • Working knowledge of hospital and professional billing workflows, and the provider reimbursement process—ideally spanning pre-claim requirements through final payment—gained in a healthcare setting or an RCM-focused HIT company
  • Experience with analytics, SaaS, or data-driven solutions in a regulated or healthcare setting
  • Familiarity with machine learning and AI concepts
  • Familiarity with APIs and third-party integrations
  • Solid grounding in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and hands-on experience working with agile teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to make technical concepts clear to audiences of varying levels and experience
  • Strong stakeholder management—you can facilitate, negotiate, and bring people along
  • Strong analytical instincts—you can break down a complex problem, pinpoint the real user need, and design a creative solution
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup, adapt quickly as things change, and stay curious about where AI/ML and healthcare are headed
  • Bachelor's degree required
