Job Summary
Product Manager for Sourced Packaging & Supplies focused on marketing activities and cross-functional alignment between sales and corporate purchasing. Responsibilities include championing customer feedback into insights, leading product specification training for sales and marketing, developing go-to-market strategies for consumables, maintaining item details and engineering change processes, conducting market analysis and pricing reports, and providing on-site support during customer visits. Requires strong communication, collaboration with vendors and customers, and ability to travel to customer locations; familiarity with packaging products, pricing strategies, MS Excel, and Dynamics 365 preferred. Travel and confidentiality/non-compete commitments are part of the role.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business, marketing, or related field
- Minimum of one year relevant experience in sales, customer service, or marketing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel to customer locations frequently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/CRM systems
- Knowledge of packaging products and manufacturing processes
- Commitment to safety and compliance
- Ability to sign confidentiality and non-compete agreements
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
- Minimum of one year of relevant experience in sales, customer service, or marketing (packaging or fresh produce industry preferred)
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field, and/or equivalent work experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
