Job Summary
Product Manager, Servicing leads the strategy, roadmap, discovery, and business outcomes for Guild Mortgage's Mortgage Servicing domain, owning the end-to-end post-origination borrower journey from delinquency management to loss mitigation and servicing operations. The role partners with Compliance, Operations, and Technology to define problems, frame measurable outcomes, build a clear product backlog, and drive end-to-end delivery with Engineering, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Operations teams. Responsibilities include defining a multi-horizon roadmap, conducting market and borrower research, leading structured discovery, managing governance reviews, and delivering value through a data-driven approach. The position emphasizes transforming servicing practices with modern, outcome-focused delivery, fostering adoption of new capabilities, and mentoring stakeholders in product-led decision-making, while ensuring compliance with mortgage servicing requirements and maintaining strong vendor management relationships. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or related field (or equivalent)
- Minimum seven years' experience in the mortgage servicing industry, including direct exposure to default management, delinquency, loss mitigation, forbearance, foreclosure, or asset management processes
- At least 5+ years in a product management role owning strategy, roadmap, discovery, and business outcomes for a complex product domain
- PMP or equivalent product management certification preferred (AIPMM, Pragmatic Institute, SAFe Product Management, or equivalent)
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Analytical skills
- Experience with modern product delivery practices including iterative development, backlog management, and incremental release strategies
- Familiarity with GSE, CFPB, and state mortgage servicing compliance requirements
- Experience with servicing platforms (e.g., MSP, Black Knight) and collaboration with operations and technology teams
- Ability to write crisp business cases, facilitate structured discovery, and drive evidence-based prioritization
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment
- Mobility to meet with customers or partners as needed
- Travel approximately 5-10%
