Job Summary
The Private Label Product Manager develops, sources, and manages Benco Dental’s private-label portfolio from concept through market launch and lifecycle, collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, and vendors to ensure cost competitiveness, regulatory compliance, and supply continuity. Responsibilities include strategy development, lifecycle management, identifying opportunities from market and customer insights, creating roadmaps, leading end-to-end product development, defining requirements, positioning, pricing, packaging, and documentation, and supporting go-to-market plans, training, and regulatory adherence. The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, vendor management, financial modeling, and customer-centric product innovation. Education and experience requirements include a bachelor’s degree and 1-3+ years in product/ category management or related fields, with preference for private-label/healthcare experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Life Sciences, or related field required
- 1-3+ years of product management, category management, sourcing, or related experience
- Experience with private-label, healthcare, dental, medical, or consumable products preferred
- Demonstrated success managing cross-functional projects and product launches
- Strong analytical and financial acumen
- Vendor negotiation and sourcing experience
- Project management and organizational skills
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and product lifecycle tools/systems
