Product Manager Power Electronics – Inverter systems

Job Summary
Drive the definition and development of new power frequency converter platforms, translating market and regulatory needs into clear system requirements. Select converter topologies, control strategies, and integration approaches while resolving complex, conflicting design constraints across engineering disciplines. Act as technical partner for PMO, sales, manufacturing, and purchasing teams to guide problem-solving on complex projects and ensure designs are manufacturable, testable, and reliable. Present and defend the technical vision in customer and stakeholder meetings, applying IEC, CE, UL, and marine standards in daily design work. Lead an independent role reporting to the Head of Engineering, combining hands-on system architecture with product-level thinking to shape the technology roadmap.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (Bachelor's or higher)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics or a closely related field
- Proven track record as a system lead or architect of complex products/systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills at both component and subsystem level
- Familiarity with engineering quality systems (PLC, engineering change management)
- Excellent communication and technical writing skills - reports, analyses, presentations
- Leadership across organizational boundaries: you get results without formal authority
