Job Summary
Product Manager, Payroll at Insperity leads the definition of product line strategy, business plans, and opportunity identification, and creates functional specifications. Responsible for product releases and ensuring project teams meet schedules; collaborates with Business Units, UX Designers, development teams, Marketing, and conferences/events teams to align feature sets, branding, and go-to-market materials. Plays a business-leader role, translating market needs into features, evaluating product performance, and supporting user training and conferences. Requires Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3–5 years in product management with at least 2 years of project management; payroll/HR/benefits knowledge and leadership experience are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, MIS or Computer Science or other related field
- Three to five years product management experience
- A minimum of two years demonstrated project management ability
- HR, Payroll, and Benefits experience strongly preferred
- Prior leadership experience and work in a high-tech environment are preferable
- Must be knowledgeable of payroll processing, taxes and benefits
- Excellent customer and organizational skills; strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to learn quickly and be self-starter
- Analytical and statistical skills
- Experience with system design, development and testing methods
