Job Summary

Product Manager - Payments (ChaseNet) leads end-to-end product strategy and execution for a payments processing platform. Owns the product backlog, defines success metrics, and guides cross-functional teams (Technology, Fraud/Risk, Operations, Compliance, Commercialization) through discovery, ideation, and delivery to drive customer value, reduce friction, and improve authorization outcomes. Partners with Consumer and Community Banking and Payments stakeholders to design features, articulate customer problems, and translate concepts into clear requirements and milestones while ensuring scalable, compliant, and market-ready solutions. This role requires strong data analytics, executive-level communication, and hands-on experience delivering payment-technology products using agile methodologies and JIRA-based workflows.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • Proven product ownership experience leading end-to-end technology delivery, from discovery, release execution and post-launch performance management.
  • Deep understanding of payments processing concepts, including authorization flows, fraud controls, disputes/chargebacks, and operational impacts on merchants and cardholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence across complex stakeholder groups, including product, technology, operations, risk, and commercial teams, with experience engaging senior leaders.
  • Strong analytical capability to develop business cases, define success metrics, and use data to prioritize work and validate outcomes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate between business objectives and technical implementation detail. Demonstrate executive-ready communication, facilitation of cross-functional decision forums, conflict resolution, and influencing without direct authority.
  • Experience with delivery tooling: JIRA (or equivalent work management tools) and documentation practices suitable for technology delivery and auditability.
  • Agile delivery and product management: Scrum, backlog management, user stories and acceptance criteria, release planning, stakeholder management.
  • Process and operating model design: mapping complex end-to-end flows, identifying control points, and designing scalable operational handoffs.
