Job Summary
Translate business, customer, and operational needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Work closely with software developers to design, build, and improve payment products, coordinating initiatives from planning through launch and post-launch follow-up. Own the product backlog, prioritizing development based on customer impact and business value. Support integrations with clients, payment providers, and banks while collaborating with stakeholders across Engineering, Operations, Risk, and Compliance. Identify opportunities to simplify payment flows and improve operational efficiency using data and customer feedback. Monitor feature performance and define relevant KPIs. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payments, banking, and fintech trends.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, Project Manager or in a comparable role
- Experience working directly with software developers
- Good understanding of the software development lifecycle
- Experience working in an Agile product or technology environment
- Ability to translate business requirements into clear and actionable requirements for technical teams
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage several priorities and stakeholders
- Analytical mindset with the ability to break down complex problems and identify practical solutions
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to work across both technical and non-technical teams
- A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to take ownership of problems through to resolution
- Fluent professional English
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience within fintech, payments or banking
- Understanding of payment flows, payment service providers, card payments, bank transfers or payment processing
- Experience working with APIs, integrations or third-party technology providers
- Familiarity with regulated financial services environments
- Experience using product and delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence or similar
