Product Manager – Payments & Billing (d/f/m)

Job Summary
Own the payment experience end-to-end, from guest checkout through post-stay charges, monitoring success/failure rates and driving down declines and gateway timeouts. Manage the full billing cycle for room revenue recognition across European markets, acting as the internal expert on Adyen and Apaleo integrations to spot and close gaps. Partner with Accounting to resolve billing discrepancies, support reconciliation, and investigate OTA mismatches while ensuring invoicing compliance with local VAT and tax regulations. Run daily triage with Customer Service to prioritize payment tickets and unblock the team on edge cases. Transform recurring fixes into scalable processes using SQL and product analytics to translate data insights into clear priorities for non-technical stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Solid knowledge of EU billing and payments in hospitality
- Accounting literacy
- Experience with agile project management
- Experience with impact-based prioritization
- Proven track record managing stakeholder relationships across diverse departments (Accounting, Customer Service, Engineering)
- Working knowledge of SQL
- Working knowledge of scripting
- Working knowledge of basic statistical analysis
- Familiarity with product analytics tools
- Proactive, curious mindset
- High ownership and autonomy in a flat structure
- Strong, structured problem-solving under ambiguity
- Ability to explain data insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders
