Job Summary
Product Manager on the Card Authorizations team responsible for end-to-end execution of the product's vision and prioritized roadmap, architecting business solutions, and leading the team to align with strategic objectives. Partners with product, technology, and business stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of roadmap items and the integration of business architecture principles. Provides leadership and direction to the team, collaborates with Area Product Owner to identify new opportunities via user research, and drives requirements through detailed business and technical analysis. Maintains deep knowledge of area vision, strategy, and operational aspects; develops and maintains business architecture and capabilities models; ensures technology solutions align with business needs; facilitates workshops to gather requirements, drive consensus, and analyze needs. Monitors industry trends, governs Jira hygiene, manages the product roadmap and release management, supports agility-driven improvements, and coordinates dependencies. Requires 7+ years of relevant experience, leadership ability, banking/payments domain expertise, strong analytical skills, stakeholder management, business modeling skills, and proficiency with process and risk controls, in a role that blends Product, Architecture, and Agile practices.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Product Analyst, Business Architect, or Business Analyst, with 7+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
- Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to lead and mentor teams, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration
- Strong understanding of business processes, systems, and technology, with experience in banking and payments domain
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct detailed business analysis and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to create and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders throughout the firm
- Experience with business modeling tools, methodologies, and business analysis techniques
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience, with expert knowledge in all business processes across an entire line of business, as well as expertise in other lines of business and technology disciplines
- Strong understanding of firmwide risk and controls, and global and line of business project and program management standards and methods
- Experience working with high-performing teams in complex program execution, with a strong understanding of Waterfall and Agile methods
