Job Summary
Product Manager for Motorola Solutions' cloud video security platform (VMS). Own the product area, define outcomes, run discovery with customers, write clear specs, and partner with engineering and design to move from problem to solution to delivery. Define and measure success metrics, contribute to an AI-native strategy, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to drive launches and feedback loops. Emphasis on SaaS/enterprise software experience, especially in video surveillance or analytics, with strong customer-discovery capabilities and the ability to translate insights into product decisions. Role is primarily remote with travel to UK offices (London, Uxbridge).
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years product management experience in SaaS, cloud platforms, or enterprise software
- Experience with video surveillance or video analytics strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to run customer discovery and translate findings into product decisions
- Comfortable working directly with engineering teams and discussing architecture/trade-offs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bias toward action and iterative shipping of product
- Experience defining and tracking product metrics
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Support, Marketing, and other product teams
- Experience with AI/ML product concepts and AI-generated prototypes is a plus
- Domain knowledge of physical security ecosystems (installers, integrators, end-users)
- Hybrid cloud/on-prem experience is a plus
- Technical depth enabling discussion with engineers on system design and APIs
