Job Summary
Product Manager for Parsons’ Federal Solutions DoD software factory leading a team of engineers on a contract, managing multiple projects, coordinating with value streams to ensure delivery, overseeing workflows and agile processes, and gathering/scope requirements from internal and external customers to drive software projects forward. Requires a Bachelor's in a technical discipline with at least 5 years of experience, strong agile product management and communication skills, experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools, and U.S. citizenship due to DoD requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related technical discipline with at least 5 years of professional experience
- Strong experience in leading, coordinating and driving the technical product vision, defining product requirements, detailing, and communicating to teams and guiding them through key project milestones using an agile project management methodology (Scrum, Kanban, Lean Software development, Scaled Agile Framework, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills along with demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and react to shifting priorities to meet business needs.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical teams.
- Demonstrated ability to use and gather data to perform quantitative analysis and make decisions.
- Hands-on experience with agile product management tools (JIRA, Service Now, BMC, Ivanti, etc.)
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of CI/CD concepts and processes including prior experience developing and/or utilizing DevOps pipelines for software delivery (Gitlab, GitHub, Jenkins, etc.)
- Ability to maintain positive and professional relationships.
- Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English.
- Must be a U.S. citizen due to DoD contract.
