Job Summary
Conduct customer needs analysis and market validation for 2.5D, 3-axis, and 5-axis machining solutions. Manage product lifecycles from problem definition through design to market launch. Evaluate requirements based on customer benefit, technical feasibility, and strategic relevance to shape product strategy. Validate new concepts via customer feedback and field testing while managing risks. Collaborate with development, QA, application engineering, support, marketing, and sales teams. Ensure consistent feature integration and take accountability for achieving defined product goals. Requires extensive CAM expertise and strong German and English language skills.
Required Qualifications
- strong understanding of machining processes and 2.5D, 3-axis, and 5-axis machining
- Extensive CAM and manufacturing expertise
- In-depth knowledge of machining and a thorough understanding of CAM processes, CNC machines, control systems, tools, and manufacturing processes
- Several years of professional experience in CAM, machining, or product management
- experience in the development, validation, and market launch of technical product solutions
- Experience with product discovery methods, prioritization techniques, use case modeling, Microsoft 365, and at least one CAM system
- Very good German and English skills for communicating technical content in a way tailored to the target audience
Desired Qualifications
- ideally, knowledge of agile product development methods, pilot projects, and beta testing
