Product Manager, Lean Burn Gas Power Generation

Job Summary
Own end-to-end product lifecycle for lean-burn gas engines and gensets in North American markets, coordinating with global engineering teams to support product positioning, customer needs, and long-term portfolio development. Lead market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities, collaborate with engineering, R&D, and global product teams to enhance performance, reliability, and regulatory compliance, and support product launches, technical support, and market development activities. Collect and communicate customer and distributor feedback for continuous product improvement; provide product training and technical support to sales teams, channel partners, and customers; monitor product performance using KPIs and reporting metrics to identify improvement opportunities; coordinate cross-functionally between North American operations and global engineering for product requirements and market needs. Requires travel and interaction with international teams; Mandarin proficiency is an asset.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related technical field required. Advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, applications engineering, business development, sales engineering, or related roles within the power generation, industrial engine, or energy industry.
- Demonstrated experience with lean-burn gas engines, gaseous-fueled power generation systems, gensets, or related industrial energy technologies.
- Strong understanding of power generation systems, engine technologies, emissions considerations, and applicable industry standards.
- Proven ability to analyze market data, identify trends, and support strategic decisions based on market and customer insights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as business needs require.
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin is considered an asset.
